Ecclesiastes ch3 vv14-15, ch8 v15, ch10 v14, ch12 vv13-14

We should enjoy ourselves, because the only pleasure we have in this life is eating and drinking and enjoying ourselves.
We can at least do this as we labour.

Have reverence for God, and obey his commands, because this is all that human beings were created for.
God is going to judge everything we do, good or bad, even things done in secret.

Everything God does will last for ever.
You can't add anything to it or take anything away from it.
Whatever happens or can happen has already happened before.
God makes the same thing happen again and again.

The only pleasure we have in this life is eating and drinking and enjoying ourselves.
Have reverence for God, and obey his commands, because this is all that human beings were created for.

No one knows what is going to happen next, no one can tell what will happen after we die.
Useless, useless, it is all useless.

Eat, drink and enjoy yourself.
Revere God, and obey his commands.

Enjoy life.
Revere God.
